What is STA?
Short Term Accommodation
Short Term Accommodation (STA) is an NDIS-funded support available under Home & Living Supports, typically offered for up to 14 days at a time.
It’s designed to provide a safe and supportive place to stay when your usual living arrangement is unavailable, whether you need respite, emergency accommodation, or a short break from your everyday routine.
At STIL Homes, we offer a range of STA options across South Australia that are ready when you need them — fully accessible, comfortable, and tailored to your individual support needs.
-
Are you or your carers in need of a short break?
-
Looking for temporary accommodation while trialling a new SIL provider?
-
Needing short-term support after a sudden change in your circumstances?
We’re here to offer safe and flexible short stays that support your independence, wellbeing, and choice.
📌 Note: STA typically includes the cost of accommodation, personal care, food, and activities. It is usually funded under your Core Supports budget within your NDIS plan.
